Moon Sweepers Packager

The Packager ($100, Logistics) takes the dust from your brush when you press E and sends it out as capsules on a belt - to the hub to sell, or to a Pressure chamber.

What does the Packager do?

The Packager is a $100 Logistics machine that turns the dust in your brush or broom into capsules on a conveyor belt. Walk up to it and press E to empty your tool; capsules come out of its rear port and ride the belt away. It cleans nothing and processes nothing, so it only earns money once its belt ends at the hub intake or feeds a Pressure chamber.

Packager capsules can feed a Pressure chamber or go straight to the hub

Where to connect the Packager

Put it where you sweep by hand, away from the station, so you stop walking every load back.

  1. Buy the Building tool ($50), open Logistics and place the Packager with a clear path behind it.
  2. Run a belt from its rear output to a port on the hub to sell raw dust, or to a Pressure chamber inlet to make sand.
  3. Empty a small load into it with E and watch the first capsules reach the end before you build a long line.
  4. If it stops with "Could not pack a capsule" while it has power and dust, update to 1.0.4, which fixed that pause.

Is the Auto-Packer upgrade worth it?

The Auto-Packer upgrade does something different: when your tool fills up while you clean, it drops a packed capsule at your feet, which you still have to carry or put on a belt. It does not replace a Packager. Players who already drive a vehicle call the upgrade pointless, because a vehicle unloaded at the Garage is packed into capsules anyway.
