The Pressure chamber is the first processing machine: it turns moon dust into moon sand, which sells for three times as much. At up to 5 kg every 12 seconds it can take about 25 kg of dust a minute, more than a single Robot vacuum brings in, so one chamber is enough until your collection grows.
Pressure chamber sand feeds the Stone press
Pressure chamber power: 10 kW
It needs 10 kW from solar panels within range, and does nothing without it. Any of these covers one chamber in sunlight:
- One Solar tracker (L): 16 kW, with a 10 kWh battery for the night.
- Two Solar twins (M): 15 kW together, each with a 4 kWh battery.
- Four Solar posts (S): 12 kW, but no battery, so it stops at night.
To keep it running through the night, one builder gives each chamber two Solar trackers.
Why the Pressure chamber sits idle
Point the side without the handle at the dust belt; a chamber facing the wrong way sits idle beside a full belt. If dust goes in and nothing comes out, check power and whether the sand belt is blocked. Players disagree on how much sand a kilogram of dust returns, so test a small batch before selling sand on its own; feeding the sand into a Stone press is the surer use.
