The Crew transport sits in the Garage Vehicles tab next to the four sweepers, but it has no brushes, hopper or tank. It collects no dust, so it never needs the collector pad, and it is not a replacement for your broom. Its top speed and how many players it seats are not known yet.

Is the Crew transport worth $2,000?
For most players it comes after the cleaning vehicles. Every vehicle covers distance, but the sweepers clean fresh ground on the way and come back with a load to sell; the van only travels. For $500 more the Lunar sweeper both drives and fills a 1,200 kg hopper, so buy the van once your cleaning fleet is in place and travel time is what still costs you.
Faster ways to get around the Moon
For long hops, the Moon map has 12 stations you can teleport between for $50 a jump. Faster movement is one of the Upgrade Matrix upgrades, and one player says the vehicle speed upgrades help a lot. When you travel to reach new ground, drive a cleaning vehicle and pick up flags ($100) and survey sites ($250) on the way.
