Moon Sweepers Garage

The Garage ($200) is where you buy, store and call back your vehicles. Park one on its collector pad and the dust empties into the silo, whose two back ports send it out as capsules on belts.

The Garage is a Services building and the door to every vehicle. Its Vehicles tab sells the Push sweeper, Ride-on sweeper, Lunar sweeper, Mega vacuum rover and Crew transport, and each player buys their own. It keeps one vehicle in its hall at a time. Since 1.0.3 every Garage can call back, store and upgrade your vehicles, and one fits on square foundations. Budget the $200 on top of your first vehicle: a Push sweeper start costs $500.

The silo's two back ports put the dust on conveyor belts as capsules

Cleaning vehicles such as the Push sweeper unload on the collector pad

How to unload a vehicle at the Garage

  1. Before your first trip, connect belts to the silo's two back ports and run them to the hub or into a production line.
  2. Drive the full vehicle onto the collector pad under the Garage hood and unload it.
  3. Watch the silo release capsules onto the belts.
  4. Check your balance once the capsules reach the hub; until then the dust is only stored.
  5. Store or recall the current vehicle before you take out another, since the hall holds one at a time.

A silo with no belts attached simply keeps the dust, so a full hopper earns nothing until the ports are connected.

Does the Garage have a belt input?

No. The Garage only takes dust from a vehicle on its pad; it has no port for an incoming belt, and players have asked for one. The workaround posted in that thread is to add a Merger after a Garage output and bring another line, such as a Packager's, into its second input, so both share one belt to the hub.
