The Push sweeper is where cleaning by hand ends. You walk behind it, and it sweeps a 1.35 m strip into a 100 kg hopper. The best broom, the $150 Extra wide broom, covers 98.8 cm and holds 12 kg, so the sweeper is about a third wider and carries about eight times as much per trip. A first Push sweeper costs $500 with the Garage it is bought in.
Park on the Garage collector pad to empty the hopper into the silo
Push sweeper or a broom upgrade?
Buy it once you are clearing new ground for long stretches and can afford the Garage too. Next to a $30 container upgrade or a $75 Wide broom, $500 is a big step, and not every player thinks it pays: one argues that a lightly upgraded third broom stays ahead until the Garage holds its second vehicle plus some upgrades. Short on money? Get the Extra wide broom first, then build the Garage once the $1,000 Ride-on sweeper is affordable as well.
How to unload the Push sweeper
A full hopper is emptied on the Garage collector pad, from where the silo sends the dust out on belts; connect the silo's ports before your first trip or the load just waits there. In co-op the vehicle and its upgrades belong to the player who bought them.
