Garage — cleaning vehicle

Moon Sweepers Ride-on Sweeper

The Ride-on sweeper ($1,000) is the drivable sit-on cleaner that comes after the Push sweeper. Players treat it as the point where the Garage starts to beat an upgraded broom.

The Ride-on sweeper is the second of the four cleaning vehicles and the first one you sit on. Like every vehicle it is bought in the Garage, each player buys their own, and it empties on the Garage collector pad. Its sweep width and hopper size are not known yet.

When the Garage is worth it

Players put the break-even here: one says the Garage stays useless until the second vehicle with some upgrades, and that until then a barely upgraded third broom is better. So budget the Garage together with this second vehicle and a few upgrades, rather than the Garage and a Push sweeper alone. Another player skipped the smaller vehicles altogether, carried capsules to a belt by hand and saved for the largest one in two or three hours.

Cleaning with the Ride-on sweeper

Driving changes how you clean: instead of single brush strokes you plan long passes and turn at the end of each strip. That is fast on broad, untouched ground and clumsy on the last dusty corner of a hex, so finish the nearly clean hexes near the station before you rely on it.
